Questions people ask before they hire us.

Prices, timelines, ownership, hosting, what happens after launch. If your question isn’t here, WhatsApp us — you’ll get a reply from the person who does the work.

Pricing & payment

Pricing & payment

How much does a website cost?

Our packages are fixed and public: Launch (5 pages) R5,530, Growth (10 pages + blog) R10,430, Commerce (online store) R18,830, and custom systems from R33,600. All once-off, ex VAT, with launch-special pricing already applied. See pricing and our website cost guide.

Do you offer payment plans?

Website packages are paid at the published price. Some projects can be structured as a build fee plus a monthly care plan; ask us when you brief the project and we’ll tell you what’s possible for your scope.

Are the monthly plans contracts?

No lock-in. Care plans and retainers are billed monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice. There is no setup fee.

Do prices include VAT?

No. All prices on this site exclude 15% VAT. We invoice in ZAR, or in USD for international clients.

Can I request a custom package?

Yes. If your project doesn’t fit a package we scope it in a short call and quote a fixed price. The quote is the price — no hourly surprises.

Process & timelines

Process & timelines

How long does a website take?

Launch sites about 2 weeks, Growth sites 3–4 weeks, online stores 5–6 weeks, counted from the day we have your content. Custom systems are phased; the first working version usually lands within weeks, not months.

What do I need to provide?

Your logo, the text for each page (or notes we can write from), images, and any accounts we need to connect — domain, payment gateway, Google Business. We send a one-page content brief at the start so nothing is a surprise.

How many revisions do I get?

Launch: 1 round. Growth: 2 rounds. Commerce: 3 rounds. A round is a consolidated list of changes, not one change at a time; extra rounds are quoted before we do them.

Who will I be dealing with?

The founder. Eminent WebX is founder-run: the person who scopes the project designs it, builds it and answers your WhatsApp. No account managers, no hand-offs.

Ownership, hosting & support

Ownership, hosting & support

Do I own my website?

Yes. The domain is registered in your name, the hosting is yours, and you get full admin access. If you ever leave, we hand over everything and help with the move.

Do your prices include hosting and maintenance?

Once-off packages exclude ongoing hosting and maintenance. Our care plans from R450/month bundle managed hosting, SSL, daily backups, uptime monitoring, security updates and — on Standard and Priority — monthly changes.

Can you take over a website someone else built?

Yes. Most care-plan sites were built elsewhere. We audit it, fix anything urgent, migrate it if needed and take it from there.

What happens if the site goes down?

Care plans include 24/7 uptime monitoring, so we’re alerted when a site stops responding. Priority Care includes same-day support; on all plans a compromised site is restored from a clean backup and patched as part of the plan.

Systems & automation

Systems & automation

What is a business automation system?

Custom software that connects your existing tools — WhatsApp, email, quoting, accounting, spreadsheets — so the repetitive work happens without a person doing it: quotes generated from an enquiry, follow-ups sent, documents produced, dashboards updated. See business automation systems.

Do I need to replace my current software?

No. We build around what you already use — Xero, QuickBooks, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, WhatsApp Business — and connect them rather than replacing them.

Where are you based, and do you work remotely?

We’re in Brakpan on the East Rand, Gauteng. Most work is remote over WhatsApp, email and video, and we work with clients across South Africa and internationally. In-person meetings on the East Rand can be arranged.
